Liebster Award!

I have been tagged by Tiny Sugarbee for the Liebster Award! I feel so honored to have been nominated, so thank you, Sara! I cannot wait to check out the different blogs that have been tagged and grow in the blogging community!

The questions I've been tagged to answer are:

1. What is your favorite quote?

This is a hard one! My favorite quote, at the moment, would have to be "if grace is an ocean, we're all sinking". It is a lyric from one of my favorite worship songs. It holds a lot of meaning to me and I hope one day I will have it tattooed on my arm to always remember that God's grace is sufficient and is nothing to fear.

2. Describe your style in 3 words.

Simple. Indecisive. Retro.

3. If you could have a nail polish made after you what color would it be and what would it be called?

I would love to have either a beautiful matte nude color or a deep, rich burgundy color. For the nude color I'd name it "Butterscotch" and the burgundy color, "Skin Deep"!

4. If you could change your name what would you change it to?

I would love for my name to be Juliette or Jules! (Credit goes to Psych!)

5. You have to move to one place and stay there forever, you can never leave! Where would you move to and why?

I have two places I would love to move to! 1: Illinois! Because my heart belongs to Illinois. I love the environment, the people, everything! It's so beautiful there, and hello..Chicago! 2: Germany! A very close friend of mine is from Germany and whenever she talks about when she lived there and when she's gone back to visit, I get so jealous! 

6. What is your favorite blog post so far?

I'm assuming this is my favorite blog post that I've written...and that would probably have to be my MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation Review! It was so fun for me to write!

8. Pants or dresses?

Most of the time I prefer dresses all the way!

9. What is your favorite non-Disney movie?

This is so hard, there are so many movies out there! I love so many that it's hard to choose a favorite. I guess one that is really up there would have to be the Back to the Future trilogy!

10. What inspired your blog name?

Velvet - my first job (and my current job) has Velvet in the name, and since this is my first job and I have become so close to all of my co-workers it holds a dear place in my heart.

Padawan - this is in reference to Star Wars! I am the youngest in my family, so my nickname has always been "Padawan"!

11. Pancakes or waffles?

How about both?!
